Strathearn Pty Ltd purchased the Scone Village retail centre in late 2003 along with the adjoining site containing the local Toyota sales and service centre.
The expansion of the existing centre onto the adjoining site was completed in 2005, increasing the attached specialty shops from 690 to 1538 sq metres and adding 38 carparks to bring the total on site parks to 174.
The 2 500 square metre Coles Supermarket has recently finished a re-fit and ANZ has just completed the fitout of a 243 square metre tenancy. Negotiations are underway with other tenants for the remains of the additional retail.
The expansion of the centre to incorporate the adjoining site has dramatically improved it's exposure and presentation to the New England Highway that passes through the town, and generally upgraded the whole centre.
